I will come to thee in the night
Weep not from the rampart,
Upon the sight of my passing;
For the mist shall flee thine eyes,
And pipers pipe thee dancing
The day is but a moment ‘afore,
The promise of ages remembered
For naught that we once gladly swore,
Shall be reduced to cinder
Aye, laughter shall return,
For the nether veil, shall be bested
Once more, midst fire that burns,
Once more, when time is wrested
Death vanquished, laid low, by Everglow
I will come to thee in the night,
Trailing Laughter midst your dreams;
No more a tear for you to shed,
Soul ‘ner forgets it’s twin
Love ‘ner departs the dead
There lives no vile destroyer,
Can crush mingling of the Soul
There lives no foe so able,
To vanquish Everglow
Through ages,
Death we’ve conquered;
‘Ner barred by silent graves,
Weep not, for Soul lives on
And Love, it ever craves
The Beloved, of Everglow
I will come to thee in the night,
When the hour is late
Where the shadows fall long,
Forever twined fate
Everglow, shines on
There midst silvered shadow,
Will I stand beside thy bed
While ages weave what mattered,
And carve there what was said
I will come,
When shadows bathe thy grief;
Despair not, I am at thy side,
For I am more than memory,
I am the moonstruck tide:
I am the Everglow, returning in your soul
I will come to thee in the night
Weep not from the rampart,
Upon the sight of my passing;
For the mist shall flee thine eyes,
And pipers pipe thee dancing
Lift thine eyes to heaven,
Hear fate declare it so:
Forever shall we cleave,
Two bound in Everglow
